Sustaining tenancies
We aim to ensure that all our customers and potential customers have equal access to our services, providing a safeguard for our most vulnerable tenants. It is our intention to support and sustain tenancies rather than terminate them and early intervention is essential in achieving this.
We will focus on practical ways of sustaining the tenancy, rather than seeking to solve all the tenant's problems. We will put customers in touch with other agencies that can help them and give people the opportunity and support to manage their own affairs.
Rockingham Forest Housing Association provides general needs housing to a diverse range of customers across Northamptonshire. We set ourselves high standards for service delivery and our customers know what level of service to expect from us. We believe that we have a two-way relationship with our tenants and in return for our services we expect our tenants to conduct their tenancies responsibly. We recognise, however, that some tenants will need help and support to do this.
