What is the Contractor Code?
Rockingham Forest Housing Association is committed to providing its Residents with the best possible service in all aspects of its work. Private contractors employed by the Association to carry out repair and maintenance work have a vital part to play in this respect.
Through their regular contact with the Association and with the Association’s Residents contractors should be aware they contribute very significantly towards the effectiveness, efficiency and overall quality of service provided to Residents by the Association’s maintenance function.
It is, therefore, essential that contractors conduct themselves in a responsible and professional manner at all times, both in their dealings with the Association and with its Residents.
The purpose of the Contractor Code is to serve as a clear, practical guide for contractors to ensure they are aware of the standards and procedures expected of them by the Association. The Code covers all aspects of the contractor's involvement with the Association and its Residents, from receiving an order through to final invoicing for work completed.
