If you have limescale on your taps due to hardwater, soaked some toilet roll in lemon juice, put this around the area and cover with a plastic bag & seal using an elastic bag. Leave this overnight and remove the following morning and your taps should be limescale free (if there is a lot of limescale this may take a few applications).
To keep your plug holes running free, use the following mixture. 4 parts white vinegar to 1 part bicarbonate of soda. Mix these in a bottle (be careful because this foams up a lot so do it in the sink) then pour down the sink and leave for a couple of hours and rinse the pipes through.
