Estate Champions and Estate Walkabouts
Estate Champions are people that are willing to take a little more responsibility for the area that they live in outside of the estate walkabouts with our Housing Officer.
Estate Champions are a new initiative for RFHA. These are people who are willing to take a little more responsibility for the area that they live in. We would like these people to report issues to the Housing Officer and help to work with them to resolve the issue. This role is very similar to the work that you would do on an estate inspection, but would be completed on a more regular basis. This means that any arising concerns can be addressed in its early stages before it has managed to get too established whilst waiting for the next Estate Walkabout with one of the Housing Officers.
Estate Walkabouts – This is when a representative from a local area has a walkabout with a Housing Officer to inspect the area and indentify any areas that they would like us to action for them. The Housing Officer will contact people in advance of the walkabout to try to find a willing person to assist. If you would like to be considered for either of these please register your interest through the link below and our Resident Involvement Coordinator will be in touch.
