Quality Homes
In 2005 we started a programme of fitting solar panels to our properties to reduce the cost of providing hot water. We fit 9 properties per year with solar panels and are in the process of trialling new bio-mass boilers in our rural properties that do not have access to mains gas supplies.
All properties are fitted with double glazing and insulation to help keep the heat in and the cold out. We have a programme of replacing boilers with new models to improve energy efficiency.
The Association is committed to spending over £1million per year upgrading it’s properties with a rolling programme of replacing kitchens and bathrooms as well as providing an essential maintenance service
Excellent Services
Because we are a community based organisation we are able to offer a more tailored, personal service; we are lucky enough to know many of our customers on a fi rst name basis. We aim to resolve 80% of all resident enquiries at fi rst point of contact, so that our customers can be assured of a friendly, effi cient and effective response to their questions and requests.
Our Customer Service Standards are designed by our residents, and are tested by a team of resident-led ‘Mystery Shoppers’ to ensure that the service which we deliver is a service that continues to meet the needs of our residents.
Community Values
We are a key partner in a number of community projects including regeneration initiatives which are working to improve the local area using a multi agency approach. The Association is also working on a number of fi nancial inclusion projects across the county.
We are committed to putting money back into the economy by employing local labour wherever possible. Almost all of our approved contractors are based in the County.
Exceeding Expectations
We are an independent, community based organisation whose core activity is providing high quality housing and customer focused, accessible services
